Ornithogalum dubium also known as geel tjienkerintjee (yellow chincherinchee), it’s a lovely bulb. The flowers can be orange, yellow or white with a dark centre. It is found flowering now on the reserve. Ornithogalum dubium often flowers after good rains or fire. Flowers are about 3cm in diameter when open and the plant can grow up to 50 cm tall.
